Man Betrayed When Now Former Friend Invited Him To Marathon of Theatrical Versions of LOTR
Local Lord of the Rings superfan Bryan Davidson left the home of now former friend Dan in shock and confusion. He had just learned Dan planned to watch the theatrical versions of Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings trilogy during their annual marathon of the movies instead of the Extended Editions.
“You think you know someone,” said Bryan. “When did Dan abandon reason for madness? I’ve known him since our days of playing Guitar Hero together in the dorms at State. He was one of my groomsmen. We’ve watched the Extended Editions—the only acceptable versions of these epic films—every year together for the past twenty years! I wouldn’t wish this kind of betrayal on my worst enemy.”
“I had to end this toxic relationship now. Where does it end? Enjoying The Hobbit trilogy non-ironically??”
