Awesome Guide! Lord of the Cats, LOL!

The only thing I would add is the 2016 Facsimile First Edition of 'The Hobbit,' which reproduced the 1937 edition with the classic Riddle Game chapter. This is imo the true version of the story.

Lol, I know, so great, right?

That's a great addition! I love that that edition includes that version of the chapter, especially since it's likely something that whoever you're giving it to doesn't already have in their collection

Great list! The only thing I'd add is a gift subscription to the Lord of the Rings Online MMO (https://www.lotro.com/home). Such a lovely game, especially playing with family and friends, that so lovingly depicts everything Tolkien wrote and believed in, with a player community that actually feels like a community. Also, you get to punch wraiths in the face, and I am *all* about that! 😁

Oh my goodness that doormat! We just had some friends (fellow LOTR nerds) purchase a new home - I'm absolutely buying this for a housewarming gift!

Excellent gift guide!

Great list! I bought the 'no admittance except on party business' sign to hang outside my dedicated D&D room. One of my favorite purchases.

I definitely don't need anymore pretty editions of LOTR, but you've convinced me.

My siblings and I each received a legit £2 coin from my dad that was minted just this year with the Tolkien inscription!! I would send a pic if I could in the comments but it is soooo pretty and I am not taking it out of the packaging 🤣

(He also got one of the 5,000, made of PURE silver coin as well but he’s holding onto that to see who falls in his favor to receive it 👀😭)

I would add the items from Lord of Maps: https://lordofmaps.com/

Nothing official, but lots of real world maps in a style fairly similar to Tolkien himself.
